Kolaborasi Penelitian dan Dampak Sitasi dalam Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi: Perspektif Analisis Bibliometrik”

Kolaborasi penelitian merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi kualitas dan dampak ilmiah suatu publikasi dalam komunitas akademik. Dalam bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi (Library and Information Science/LIS), kolaborasi antar peneliti, institusi, dan negara semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan jaringan penelitian global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola kolaborasi penelitian serta dampaknya terhadap tingkat sitasi publikasi ilmiah dalam bidang LIS melalui pendekatan analisis bibliometrik. Data penelitian diperoleh dari publikasi ilmiah yang terindeks pada basis data internasional dalam periode 2000–2024 dengan menggunakan kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan library and information science, research collaboration, dan citation impact. Analisis dilakukan terhadap metadata publikasi yang meliputi jumlah publikasi, pola kolaborasi penulis (co-authorship), distribusi negara dan institusi, serta analisis sitasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi penelitian dalam bidang LIS mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam dua dekade terakhir. Publikasi yang melibatkan kolaborasi antar penulis, khususnya kolaborasi internasional, cenderung memiliki tingkat sitasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan publikasi yang ditulis secara individual. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi penelitian berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan visibilitas dan dampak ilmiah publikasi. Oleh karena itu, penguatan jaringan kolaborasi penelitian menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan pengaruh penelitian dalam bidang ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi.
